PM Shehbaz not in difficult zone even if MQM-P bid adieu: PML-N sources

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister will face no trouble even if Mutahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan leave federal government as PM have 181 members confidence from house of 342 members. But MQM decide to remain with federal government.

According to Parliament sources Article-91 clause 7 is very clear regarding Prime Minister vote of confidence. Whenever President feels that Prime Minister does not have confidence of majority he will ask Prime minister to proof confidence of majority of house.

Prime minister right now have support of 181 members from house of 342 in which 85 of PML-N, 58 from PPP and 15 from Mutahida Majlis Amal along with MQM’s 7, BAP 4 and 4 from BNP, PML-Q 2, Jamhori Watan Party and ANP of 1 each and 4 independent members.

On other hand PTI have 150 member supports including their deviant members. In number game PM and allies have clear majority. Ten seats are vacant as ECP has de-seated Imran Khan from these seats and ECP has also stopped notification success of Imran from other seats while one seat is vacant due to death of Jafar Khan Laghari.
