Islamabad: Chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) management committee, Najam Sethi, had a meeting today with the Prime Minister and the patron-in-chief, Shahbaz Sharif, in Islamabad.

According to sources, during the aforementioned meeting, Prime Minister Shehbaz, conveyed his contentment with the efforts of Sethi. The patron instructed Sethi to promptly organize the elections for the post of PCB chairman. A one-year cricket calendar has also been finalized and will be announced soon.  Sethi also provided the Prime Minister with an update on the current stalemate concerning the Asia Cup. He sought guidance from the government regarding this issue.
