ISLAMABAD: Dr Fouzia Siddiqui sister of Dr Aafia Siddiqui met Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif here. He appreciated steps taken by government for welfare of Dr Aafia Siddiqui besides requesting government to step up efforts in connection with early release of Dr Aafia Siddiqui. PM assured Dr Fouzia Siddiqui of full cooperation from government in matter.

It may be mentioned Nawaz Sharif had made tremendous efforts to seek release of Dr Aafia Siddiqui. PM lauded ceaseless efforts being made by Dr Fouzia Siddiqui since years for seeking justice  besides praying for health of Dr Fouzia Siddiqui.

PM directed Foreign Ministry to remain in full contact with US government and Pakistani mission in Washington for early release of Dr Aafia Siddiqui.
