In a telephonic conversation, they asserted that whole nation was backing its Armed Forces. Both discussed overall political situation of country.

Two leaders discussed country’s evolving situation after PTI leader and former PM Imran Khan’s ‘Chief of Staff’ Shehbaz Gill was arrested. Gill’s arrest comes after PTI leader gave a controversial statement while talking to a private news channel.

Shehbaz Sharif said that strengthened state institutions were pivotal for national security. Lashing out at his predecessor, Shehbaz Sharif said Imran Khan’s ideology is to ‘politically exploit state institutions’.

Meanwhile, Shehbaz Sharif slammed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, saying that Imran Niazi could make himself fool, not nation.

Taking to his Twitter account, Shehbaz shared a post, in which he took a swipe at PTI Chairman and said that for last four months, whole country has been watching what kind of language Imran Khan has used against leadership of Pak Army.

PTI's social media trolls had started trends against Pak Army, which are full of hate, PM Shehbaz continued. Raising question he said will martyrs' families will forget all this?

Meanwhile, a committe comprising of IB, ISI officials has already been formed to probe social media hate campaigns over helicopter crash martyrs.
