ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has sought cooperation from provinces in National Flood Response Programme (NFRP) in meeting of National Economic Council (NEC).

Provinces informed PM about their proposals in connection with development budget. Meeting was informed about overall development projects in details. PM directed respective authorities and Finance Ministry to implement proposals. PM directed provincial governments to keep watchful eye on hoarders and those involved in overcharging. He said plan is being evolved for farmers.

PM directed to provide enormous relief to people by utilising available resources in best way.

Addressing NEC meeting PM said problems and resources have been placed before provinces. Development, public welfare and business friendly policies are hub of budget for financial year 2023-24. GDP growth rate and opportunities for employment will be enhanced in next financial year. We are enhancing PSDP volume from Rs 700 billion to Rs 900 billion.
