PM, President express heartfelt condolence on Queen Elizabeth’s demise

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed grief and sent his “heartfelt condolences” at passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. In a tweet on social media platform Twitter, he said, “Deeply grieved at passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Pakistan joins UK and other Commonwealth nations in mourning her death. My heartfelt condolences to Royal Family, people and government of UK.” President Dr Arif Alvi expressed his condolences to Royal family, government and people of Great Britain on demise of Queen Elizabeth II, second longest reigning monarch in history of Great Britain.
In a statement, he said that her departure has left an immense vacuum, difficult to be filled in times to come and added that adding she would be remembered in golden words in annals of world history.
He said that her inspiring leadership qualities propelled her to status of great and beneficent ruler that would be remembered in golden words in annals of world history. He said that his thoughts go out to Royal family members and people of Great Britain at this time of sorrow.
