PM lauds British Pakistani diaspora for their contributions

LONDON: Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul-Haq Kakar commended dynamic British Pakistani diaspora for their significant contributions to both countries’ development and urged them to consider Special Investment Facilitation Council as valuable platform for investments in key sectors.
Attending dinner reception hosted in his honour by Lord Zameer Choudrey at House of Lords, PM Office Media Wing said in press release, event was attended by number of British parliamentarians from various parties and select group of prominent members from Pakistani community.
Caretaker PM Kakar assured audience of Pakistan’s resilience in face of economic and political challenges, emphasising nation’s strategic importance and youthful population.
Regarding Pakistan’s democratic process, he reaffirmed that nation’s commitment to democratic ideals, emphasiing importance of an inclusive, free and transparent election process. Caretaker PM expressed his gratitude for warm reception and underscored enduring Pakistan-UK relationship grounded in shared values and aspirations.
Reception ended with Q and A session, during which Prime Minister Kakar gave insightful replies to questions from British parliamentarians. Event offered opportunity for constructive dialogue on issues of shared interests.
