PM Kakar sees killing of Palestinian children as ‘holocaust’

ISLAMABAD: Interim Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar said professional army never targets civilians and children, expressing deep concern over tragic events evolving in Gaza, particularly “Holocaust” of Palestinian children.

During his address at launch of “Zara Alert App” here, interim PM Kakar reiterated government’s commitment to safeguarding children’s rights. He urged all segments of society to actively contribute to improvement of children’s well-being, emphasising government’s continuous efforts towards their welfare.

He condemned ongoing massacre of children in Gaza, stressing that killing of innocent children by Israeli Army reflected severe violation of international laws and human rights.

Expressing deep concern over plight of Gaza’s children, interim Prime Minister urged an immediate halt to holocaust.

He stressed need to view situation in Gaza through lens of human rights rather than religious colours, predicting that ongoing crisis in Palestine could become crucial factor in future conflicts.
