PM in Abu Dhabi says ‘looking forward to fruitful exchange of views’ ``

 ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reached on daylong visit to meet UAE leadership and interact with business community. “Looking forward to fruitful exchange of views with UAE leadership with view to deepen historic and brotherly Pak-UAE ties,” he wrote on X .

He was received by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of Presidential Court of UAE. Ambassador of Pakistan to UAE Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, UAE envoy in Islamabad Hamad Obaid Al-Zaabi and senior Pakistani and UAE officers were present. Besides meeting with UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, he will also interact with IT-related businessmen and investors of Pakistan and UAE.

“Today, I am here in this brotherly country not to seek loans, but collaboration and investment, which has mutual benefit for investors,” he said. Shehbaz lauded role of UAE’s leadership for transforming country’s economic landscape. “Under dynamic leadership of President of UAE Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, country is taking lead in information technology, AI and constructing information infrastructure on modern lines,” he said. He said that efforts in UAE must be “Replicated in Pakistan”. “Pakistan offers great potential in terms of its population, majority of which is comprised of youth, constituting 60 percent of entire population,” he said. “I would like to ask UAE President to offer their experts to train our people,” he added.
