PM, FM show unwavering support to Kashmiris’ just struggle

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in his message on Kashmir Black Day reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering support to Kashmiris’ just struggle for their inalienable right to self-determination.
Prime Minister said Kashmir dispute has been on United Nations’ agenda for over seven and a half decades. He called upon international community to voice against ongoing Indian atrocities in occupied territory. He demanded an immediate reversal of Indian government’s illegal and unilateral actions of August 5, 2019.
Shehbaz Sharif said only solution to Jammu and Kashmir dispute lies in ensuring that Kashmiris are allowed to exercise their right of self-determination, through democratic process of holding a UN-mandated free and impartial plebiscite.
Meanwhile, in his message, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari paying rich tribute to Kashmiris for rendering sacrifices in struggle for right to self-determination has reiterated country’s resolve to continue backing Kashmiris in their struggle.
He said that October 27 is darkest day in history of India which emerged as worst dictator and colonialist country in world 75 years ago.
He said after building world’s largest prison, India is now trying to make occupied Kashmir largest cemetery. He urged world community to play a due role in barring India from violating human rights in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
