LAHORE: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif filed acquittal plea in money laundering reference. Amjad Pervez advocate submitted acquittal plea on behalf of PM Shehbaz Sharif and his son Hamza Shehbaz in Accountability Court (AC) Lahore in money laundering reference.

Petitioners have taken plea in acquittal plea NAB made false and fabricated money laundering reference. Assets are as per law which have been declared in FBR and Election Commission. NAB has no evidence of any kind in this regard.

It has been further said in acquittal plea filed by PM and Hamza Shehbaz that any possibility of proving case against them stands ruled out.

Court was requested to acquit Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza Shehbaz from reference.
