PM expresses determination to make second phase of CPEC resounding success

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed determination to make second phase of China Pakistan Economic Corridor a resounding success. In tweet, he expressed his gratitude to Chinese President Xi Jinping for his powerful message of support and solidarity with Pakistan on occasion of completion of Decade of CPEC.

He said that President XI's emphasis on building CPEC into an exemplary project of high quality Belt and Road Cooperation reflects his commitment to well-being of people of Pakistan. He said that we will never be able to thank President Xi Jinping enough for his singular contribution to taking China-Pakistan Strategic Cooperative Partnership to new heights.

Prime Minister said that CPEC indeed has achieved many milestones over course of last ten years in fields of high quality infrastructure, energy and socio-economic growth. As flagship project of BRI (Belt and Road Initiative), CPEC matured into story of transformation under leadership of Nawaz Sharif. He said Pakistan is ready to share this story with its friends and partners around world.
