PM directs to release Rs 34bn to address BAP’s reservations on Balochistan projects

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif directed to immediately release Rs 34 billion for Balochistan. Order was issued after meeting of leaders of Balochistan Awami Party with Prime Minister.
PM said BAP is strong coalition partner in Centre, adding prosperity of Balochistan is government’s foremost priority. He vowed to address reservations of Balochistan. Earlier, PM Sharif formed committee to address reservations of Balochistan Awami Party regarding development projects and issues faced by province headed by Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani.
Khalid Hussain Magsi, Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidari, Agha Hassan Baloch, Ishaq Dar, Ahsan Iqbal, Dr Musaddiq Malik, Azam Nazeer Tarar and Manzoor Kakar are members. PM tasked committee with holding detailed consultation and presenting report to him within week. Balochistan Chief Minister also withdrew his decision to boycott budget proceedings.
