ISLAMABAD: Information Minister Marriyum  Aurangzeb said Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif constituted a committee to sort out complaints of power consumers. In a statement issued here she said DISCOS staffers will work round clock for correction of electricity bills.

Their leave have been cancelled. Banks will remain open during holidays to collect bills from power consumers. Prime Minister yesterday directed power distribution companies to revise electricity bills of up to 200 units within 24 hours, adjusting relief under fuel adjustment charge (FAC) announced by government. He chaired high-level meeting to address issues faced by power consumers and constituted a committee on issue. “Staffers of distribution companies should work round clock to ensure revision of electricity bills,” he said.
