PM approves allowance to end discrimination in salary

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif decided to give an allowance of 150 percent to those government officials who were not receiving an executive allowance. PM also ordered equal perks to officers of Secretariat while directing to end unfair difference in salaries allowance would be admissible to officers from grade 17 to grade 22.

PM Office said increase in executive allowance would be applicable from January 1, 2023 and officers facing discrimination would get needed relief. Decision is made on direction of premier after consultation with finance minister,” PM Office added.–Online
