Pleasant weather expected during early Ramadhan days: Met Office

KARACHI: Pakistan Meteorological Agency foresees better possibilities for moon of Ramadhan 2023 to be spotted. Beginning of Ramadhan is anticipated to fall in Pakistan on Thursday, March 23 according to prediction of Met Office.
Majority of country should experience comfortable and partly overcast weather during sighting of Ramadhan moon and rainfall is predicted for first few days of holy month, climate record said.
Ramadhan might possibly fall on March 23, Thursday, Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfaraz said. He also mentioned earlier that sky was anticipated to be clear so moon could be easily viewed.
In meanwhile, on March 22, Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee organised conference to view moon (Wednesday). Meetings of zonal committees will take place at each office, according to spokeswoman.
