KARACHI: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has reduced fares by 10 percent for domestic flights during three days of Eidul Fitr. Eidul Fitr package was announced after Aviation Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique issued special directives to airline’s CEO, PIA spokesperson said. Similarly, Pakistan Railways announced to run five special trains on Eidul Fitr 2023 to facilitate nationals. Pakistan Railways will run five special trains on Eidul Fitr from Karachi to Lahore and Karachi and Peshawar. Schedule of special trains will be announced by the railway department soon.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Railways announced new Time Table of trains for summer season, which will become effective from April 15. According to new timetable, issued, time of arrival and departure of 13 trains has been changed at different railway stations whereas three trains have been given temporarily stoppages in new schedule. An important train service, 27-Up /28-Dn Shalimar Express is being restored in timetable between Lahore and Karachi.
