PIA planes makes emergency landing at Oslo Airport

KARACHI: Toronto-bound Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) plane from Karachi made an emergency landing at Norway’s Oslo International airport after worsening health condition of an onboard passenger. As per details, health of passenger deteriorated on PIA’s PK-783 flight. Doctors on plane gave first aid to passenger and on their recommendation, pilot of flight sought permission for an emergency landing at Oslo Airport.
Pilot was granted permission for an emergency landing and passenger was shifted to hospital via ambulance. Flight has now departed for Toronto after leaving ill passenger.
Earlier, an air ambulance had made technical landing at Islamabad International Airport after taking off from Kolkata to Azerbaijan, said sources.
Air ambulance which took flight from Indian city Kolkata to its destination in Azerbaijan’s Baku made technical landing at Islamabad airport, sources told.
