Karachi: A diplomatic dinner was hosted by the French Embassy in honor of PIA's CEO, Amir Hayat, and his team, to celebrate the resumption of direct flights from Pakistan to Paris.

The event was attended by European diplomats, the Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority, and officials from the aviation industry. The restoration of PIA's Paris flights is expected to significantly boost political, diplomatic, trade, and cultural relations between Pakistan and France. French Ambassador to Pakistan praised PIA's efforts, stating that the airline's direct flights will play a crucial role in strengthening bilateral ties.

PIA's effective promotional campaign for the Paris flights was also commended by the French Ambassador, who expressed hope that the airline will soon expand its operations to Paris. The ambassador suggested increasing the frequency of flights from two to at least three or four per week. CEO PIA, Amir Hayat, extended special gratitude to the French Ambassador and his team for their efforts in restoring the Paris flights. He acknowledged that the embassy's support was instrumental in the success of the flights. Hayat noted that PIA has a 70-year history of operating flights to Paris, with the airline's staff being the first to introduce designer uniforms.
