ISLAMABAD: A new petition has been filed by advocate Mian Dawood in Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) praying that reference filed by him against Justice Mazahir Ali Naqvi be heard early besides separating justice Naqvi from court matters. Petitioner has already filed reference against Justice Mazahir Ali Naqvi.

Petitioner has taken plea in his two pages new petition that reference is already pending hearing in SJC against Justice Mazahir Ali Naqvi. We came to know from cause list issued for current week that Justice Naqvi is still hearing cases. Chief Justice of Pakistan has included in bench with him. CJP has made Justice Mazahir Naqvi head of separate bench too. Voices are being raised all over country for accountability of Justice Naqvi. Including Justice Naqvi by CJP in benches is violation of norms of justice.
