Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that person hiding in bunker of Zaman Park has law in his hands, we are implementing orders of courts, there is no political revenge, police and Rangers patient is commendable. Law will make its own way, Imran Niazi makes hollow slogans of rule of law, peace and order should be ensured in whole country including Lahore.

High-level meeting was held under chairmanship of Shehbaz Sharif.  In meeting, law and order and security situation in country, especially in Lahore was reviewed. According to sources, senior ministers and senior officials of Ministry of Interior participated in meeting.  Rana Sanaullah participated through video link. In meeting, Prime Minister was informed about violent actions of Tehreek-e-Insaf workers in Lahore.  According to sources, videos of Tehreek-e-Insaf people involved in incidents, including burning of vehicles by protesters were also shown.  Prime Minister said that patience of police and Rangers is commendable.

 In briefing on situation outside Zaman Park, it was told that Tehreek-e-Insaaf workers pelted stones. More than 60 officials were injured. Workers involved in unrest have been arrested.  Punjab Police and Rangers did not fire single shot, propaganda of Tehreek-e-Insaf in this regard is baseless. In meeting, Prime Minister said to ensure peace and order situation in entire country including Lahore.  Meanwhile, Prime Minister said that Pakistan joins world community in seeking an end to all forms of hatred, profiling and discrimination against Muslims on basis of faith.

In tweet on eve of International Day to combat Islamophobia observed yesterday, he said that Islam, like other religions stands tall for tolerance, respect, peace and human development. Moreover, Chairman Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party Mahmood Khan Achakzai called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif here. During meeting, they exchanged views on prevailing political situation of country. Mahmood Khan Achakzai lauded Prime Minister’s vision of making development of Balochistan on priority and paying special attention towards relief and rehabilitation of flood affectees of Balochistan.
