‘Peoples Bus Service to start it's operations in Sukkur from today’

Karachi: Much awaited moment of formal launch of Peoples' Bus Service in Sukkur has arrived as Transport and Mass Transit Department government of Sindh has set to starts its formal operations in Sukkur today.

After success of Peoples' Bus Service in Karachi, Larkana and Hyderabad people of Sukkur will reap benefits of Bus Service ride. Fleet of 10 buses has been allocated for busiest 1st route of Sukkur that would cover areas between Rohari Railway Station and Globe Chowk, Lab-e-Mehran Sukkur.

25 kilometers long route of Sukkur will start from Rohari Railway Station and pass through Beari Stop, Atta Hussain Degree College, Dawoo Terminal, SIUT Sukkur, City Point Bus Stop, NICVD, IBA University, New Bus Terminal, Beacon House School, Sabzi Mandi, Pakowla Chowk, Board Office, Commissioner Office, IBA Public School, 7/11 store bus stop and will culminate at globe Chowk Lab-e-Mehran.

Minister for Information Transport and Mass Transit Sharjeel Inam Memon has said that Sindh government of Pakistan Peoples' Party is full filling it's promises with people and extending its flagship project in public transport sector to big cities of province so as to provide people affordable, safe and comfortable commuting facility.

He added that despite financial pressures and tough economic situation of the country? PPP Sindh is focusing to provide relief to people of province. He said that on directives of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and former President Asif Ali Zardari transport department has envisaged comprehensive plan to overhaul public transport system of province on modern lines and implementing it on fast pace.
