People from different walks of life discusses matters with Gov Tessori

Karachi: General Secretary of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) Sindh Maulana Rashid Mahmood Soomro and Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori discussed political situation, rehabilitation measures of flood victims and other issues of mutual interest. Governor said that all stakeholders of Sindh can make Sindh prosperous together. Kamran Tessori said his mission is to connect hearts, in this regard ignoring criticism and will continue to consult with everyone. Maulana Rashid Mahmood said that Governor’s consultation with stakeholders will help in solving issues of province.

Meanwhile, Governor said JDC, Seelani, Alamgir, Dawat-e-Islami and other organisations are helping flood victims of Sindh and earthquake victims of Turkiye and Syria as well. JDC has rendered valuable services in collecting aid for earthquake victims.

Addressing distribution ceremony of motorcycles under JDC Employment Scheme at Governor House. Where JDC chief Zafar Abbas and Crown Group Chief Farhan Hanif were present he said that JDC has also made significant achievements in providing IT training to children.

These institutions are providing facilities to public in various fields. Tessori said that providing motorcycles for transport to unemployed youth with support of JDC is commendable initiative.

Governor thanked Crown Group for their cooperation in organising event.

Zafar Abbas said that youths are being provided Rs 5,000 along with motorcycles, which will enable them to further improve used motorcycles. Farhan Hanif said that in first phase, 100 used motorcycles are being provided to youth, with which youth will be able to support their families by getting employment opportunities in various sectors.

Moreover, DIG SSU Maqsood Memon and Tessori discussed law and order situation in city, security plan formulated for PSL, its implementation, role of police in rehabilitation of flood victims and other issues.

Kamran Tessori said that Rangers and police bravely thwarted heinous conspiracy. He said that martyrs of KPO incident are heroes of nation.

Syed Salahuddin Managing Director Karachi Water and Sewerage Board discussed situation of water supply and drainage in city, replacement of rotten lines, need to control line losses, progress on K4 project and other matters with Tessori. Governor said that K4 is an important project for city. Steps should be taken to improve drainage situation.
