‘PDM may file review petition against SC verdict’

LAHORE: Awami Muslim League Chief Sheikh Rasheed has claimed that Pakistan Democratic Movement parties may file review petition against Supreme Court’s verdict on election delay case. Sheikh Rasheed, talking to TV programme said that it will be costliest election in history of Pakistan.
He further said that PDM leadership is mulling over filing review petition on SC verdict regarding election date, however, this move will fall on their faces. He added that PDM parties are trying to flee from elections. Rasheed claimed that political career of PML-N has ended and Pakistanis are now firmly standing with PTI Chief Imran Khan.
Earlier in day, federal government decided to bring another resolution in National Assembly against Supreme Court’s verdict in polls delaying case, nullifying Election Commission of Pakistan’s decision to postpone Punjab elections.
