PCB to ‘welcome’ Rohit to Champions Trophy launch in Karachi

LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will welcome the Indian cricket captain warmly if he visits Karachi for the opening ceremony of the ICC Men’s Champion’s Trophy 2025. 

PCB sources stated there is no confirmation yet on whether the Indian captain will visit or not. All participating teams’ captains have been invited to the event, as per PCB sources. “The first match of the Champions Trophy is scheduled in Karachi, so the event will also take place in Karachi,” sources revealed. PCB has planned to host the unveiling ceremony of the Champions Trophy in Karachi. The unveiling ceremony and photo session with team captains remain under discussion.
