The revelation of private WhatsApp conversations involving Captain Babar Azam concerning the team's affairs has caused significant displeasure for Salman Naseer, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), according to insights provided by senior sports journalist Sohail Imran on Thursday.

Imran explained on the Geo Pakistan show that Salman Naseer, the PCB COO, is notably upset because, in corporate culture, confidential conversations among individuals should have remained private.

Furthermore, the journalist disclosed that the PCB COO is apprehensive that players may be hesitant to share their concerns with him in the future, as they fear that their private discussions might be leaked.

Imran also mentioned that the PCB COO is concerned about players' worries that their confidential conversations with him could be disclosed to the PCB chairman or other individuals, ultimately leading to leaks in the media.

The journalist noted that this recent episode has created a lack of trust between the national team players and the PCB COO.

Additionally, Babar Azam is reportedly perturbed by the leaks, as he is worried that his private discussions on sensitive matters may be exposed to the media in the future.

In response to inquiries regarding the source of the leaked conversation, the journalist stated that all information related to the controversy had become public, and the individual responsible for the leak had admitted their involvement.
