PBF hails Army Chief’s efforts for expediting country’s economic progress

ISLAMABAD: In resounding display of approval, Pakistan Business Forum (PBF) expressed satisfaction with military diplomacy and economic initiatives undertaken by Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir as nation witnessed positive shift in various sectors.

PBF President Khawaja Mahboob ur Rehman said that wave of optimism was sweeping through country as caretaker government’s economic policies, coupled with strategic decisions of Army Chief, had resulted in tangible improvements in key economic indicators.

He said significant reduction in value of dollar, which has seen commendable drop from 340 to 280 rupees, prompting hopeful expectations of further stabilisation.

Impact of these measures is evident in Pakistan Stock Exchange, where a positive trend has starting emerged and bringing relief to investors.

Additionally, reduction in petrol prices has garnered praise from public, further fueling positive sentiment towards government’s economic policies.

PBF President thanked to positive actions of Army Chief, there is positive trend in Pakistan Stock Exchange and petrol prices have decreased.

PBF President stated steps Army Chief is taking are for betterment of country and we hope that in coming time, there will be improvement.”

“Unwavering resolve by Pakistan’s security forces to combat illegal activities and secure nation’s economic interests, ultimately working towards more prosperous and stable Pakistan”.
