ISLAMABAD: Minister for National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination Abdul Qadir Patel directed to resume suspended pension of Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) employees.

According to PMDC spokesperson, direction in this regard was issued after formal commencement of Pakistan Medical and Dental Council Bill which was duly approved by both houses of Parliament.

Earlier, after abolition of PMDC, PMC suspended pension of all employees which was only source of earning for retired employees. Meanwhile, PMDC employees thanked present government and Minister for National Health Services for considering matter.
