Passing out students awarded degrees at FJDC convocation, anniversary

Karachi: 26th Convocation and 30th anniversary celebration of Fatima Jinnah Dental College (FJDC)-University at Imperial Marquees Dalmia Road near Millenium Mall. Prof. Dr. Amjad Siraj Memon Vice Chancellor University conferred B.D.S. Degree on graduates of Batch-26. Dr. Masuma Hasan Chairperson Pakistan Institute of International Affairs, former Ambassador of Pakistan International Atomic Energy Agency and former Secretary to Government of Pakistan was also present.

Medals cash awards were given to top three students. Best graduate of Batch-26 was awarded to Dr. Fatima Asghar who achieved 15 distinctions and granted 6 gold medals. She also received cash award. 403 distinction certificates were awarded to graduates of Batch-26 in various subjects. Gold Medals were given to 17 graduates (Highest marks in subject in University examination). 12 Shields were granted to students getting first, second and third positions in University’s various annual examinations.

Speakers at event highlighted education level at varsity is par excellence and institution is rendering high standard of education in all faculties according to international level. They were of opinion that despite economic restraints every step is being taken to impart education in accordance with international leel.
