Pakistan’s first PRICE Retreat 2022 held at Ziauddin Varsity

Karachi: Pakistan Registry of Intensive Care (PRICE) has organised country’s first PRICE Retreat 2022.
Programme was hosted by Prof Dr. Madiha Hashmi Head of Critical Care Medicine Department at Ziauddin University. Goal of this retreat is to encourage collaboration with key partners in Intensive CARE implementation and training. PRICE aims to improve region’s critical care quality by assisting individual sites in utilising registry and patients’ quality of life in ICU. International key collaborators have visited Pakistan to attend seminars and training regarding region’s critical care. International guests included Anthony Afum from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and ISARIC, Adjei Awuah from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and ISARIC, Miranda Odam from University of Edinburgh, Abigail Beane from University of Edinburgh, Nina Jamieson from Oxford University and ISARIC and Arshad Taqi from Kaul Associate.
Aside from overseas collaborators, there were Pakistani accomplices from Peshawar, Lahore, Sukkur and Islamabad and all over Pakistan. Worldwide key partners shared their insights with senior and junior clinicians and faculty members at Ziauddin University through seminars and training.
