Pakistan’s desire for peace must not be taken as weakness, says PM Shehbaz

RISALPUR: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that Pakistan’s desire for peace must not be considered weakness. PM Shehbaz Sharif was chief guest of 147th passing out parade ceremony of Pakistan Air Force’s GD pilot course at Risalpur Academy. Chief of Air Staff Zaheer Ahmad Babar, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, Information Minister Marium Aurangzeb and senior civil and military leadership were present at event.
Addressing 147th passing out parade ceremony of Pakistan Air Force’s GD pilot course, PM Shehbaz Sharif paid tribute to graduating cadets. He congratulated cadets and their parents for completion of course. He said that currently country is facing economic challenges but government wouldn’t let people get affected by global economic crisis. Government is making an effort to bring Pakistan back on track from economic crisis, he added.
He said that Pakistan wants friendly relations with its neighbours but wish for peace should not be considered as weakness. He condemned human rights violation in India-occupied Kashmir and said that peace in South Asia is not possible without solution to Kashmir issue.
Furthermore, 147th passing out parade ceremony of Pakistan Air Force’s GD pilot course at Risalpur Academy ended with splendid air display by JF-17 Thunder, J-10 and PAF Sherdil team.
Earlier, PM reviewed parade and presented awards to cadets. PAF's Sherdil Squadron also displayed splendid air display on occasion.
