Pakistani runners shine at Dubai Marathon 2023

Dubai: The annual Dubai Marathon 2023 was organised yesterday, in which runners from all over the world participated. A large number of Pakistani runners also took part in the event especially from Islamabad and Karachi. Pakistani expats in Dubai also participated.

Runners from Islamabad Running Club and yesterday Night Pacers showed some brilliant performances. Amin Mukaty from Karachi finished the marathon distance of 42.2km with a time of 2 hours 50 minutes whereas Bilal Ehsan from Islamabad finished it in 3 hours 20 minutes. Fahad Qureshi, Fida Hussain, Rehman Azhar, Yawar Siddique, Furqan, Talal and Shahid Shah were the other prominent runners at the marathon.

Pakistani runners were cheered on in large numbers by their compatriots. Dubai marathon is one of the major sporting events in UAE's calendar. More than 16 thousand runners from all over the world participated in it this year.
