Pakistani players likely to participate in United I’ntl Baseball League in Dubai

Karachi: Pakistani players and officals are expected to participate in the United International Baseball League Dubai scheduled in February 2023.  In such a case Pakistan will participate in the name of a city of our country.

Pakistan Federation Baseball President Syed Fakhar Ali Shah briefed media manager Pervez Ahmed Shaikh on the details of the discussions held with UIBL in a  meeting with Kanwal sra CEO UIBL,  Syed Fakhar Ali Shah President Pakistan Federation Baseball discussed for development of Baseball in region at grass root level, youth and providing players a way to join  professional league. Shah said that teams consisting of professional players from around the world, including the United States, are to participate in this league, but we are trying to make as many of our players a part of this league as possible.

If Pakistani players gets a chance to play this international baseball league, their will be Pakistani city as a team name which will be decided soon by UIBL   He has asked the baseball and sports circles across Pakistan to suggest the name of the city to tell the world better about Pakistan. He says that so far we have the names of  Karachi as it's  business hub , Islamabad as it's capital, Lahore as baseball Pakistan head office suggested which are known worldwide due to their unique features.
