Pakistani labourers’ death toll from Qatar building collapse rises to five

KARACHI: Number of Pakistani expatriate workers who died when seven-storey building collapsed in Qatar’s capital Doha, has increased from three to five, according to report.
Bodies of two more Pakistani youths were recovered from under debris. One of deceased Ahsan Riaz belonged to Thaneel Chakwal while other Adeel was from Athwal. It merits here to mention that previously three young deceased Jamal Mazhar, Muhammad Azim, and Zeeshan Hafeez belonged to Dhab Khushal and Dhab Loharan villages of Chakwal city of Punjab were killed in unfortunate incident.
According to local reports, “Many Pakistani, Egyptian and Filipino families” were residing in collapsed building.
