Pakistan Youth Festival 2023 kicks off at Arts Council

Karachi: Pakistan Youth Festival 2023 was inaugurated by Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi. Number of youth participated in event. Writer Anwar Maqsood opened event while President of Arts Council Ahmad Shah and Vice-Chancellor of Karachi University Khalid Iraqi accompanied with him.

Anwar Maqsood said, "I have come here for you, you are children of this land, find your own way, destinations will come before you".

Ahmad Shah said that due to Covid, Youth Festival could not be held for last five years. Thirty thousand students have registered in this festival. "Karachi varsity's youths have to make your name bright, if your name is bright then name of country will be bright."

Khalid Iraqi expressed his gratitude to Arts Council for inviting him to Festival. He said Anwar Maqsood is great name of Pakistan and we have been listening and reading Anwar Maqsood since I was studying in matriculation.

We often get afraid of difficulties while we should not be afraid. When you decide to do something, you can do it.

Auditions of 4 different categories were held in which male and female students participated. Audition of remaining 6 categories will continue till January 28. Closing ceremony will be held on January 29. Singer Asim Azhar, Kashmir Band, Jambrooz, Mustafa Baloch stole festival with their performances.
