Istanbul: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met with Turkiye’s Defense Minister Yasar Guler here during his visit to International Expo. Meeting underscored mutual commitment of both nations to deepen cooperation across various sectors.

Yasar Guler expressed his appreciation for Mohsin Naqvi’s participation in expo, noting that such events play vital role in enhancing global partnerships. Mohsin Naqvi extended an official invitation to Yasar Guler for Ideas Expo in Pakistan, which will showcase innovation in region. Ministers discussed mutual interests, focusing on importance of increasing trade and cooperation between Pakistan and Turkiye. Both sides acknowledged positive trajectory of their relationship and emphasised need to explore new areas of collaboration.

Discussion was potential to boost Pakistan’s meat exports to Turkiye. Turkish government assured its support for facilitating these exports, showing interest in enhancing trade ties. Mohsin highlighting agriculture’s significance in broader economic relationship stressed importance of regular high-level visits to ensure lasting cooperation. Pakistan’s Ambassador to Turkiye Dr. Yusuf Jind attending meeting, underscoring high-level nature of discussions. Visit is seen as significant step toward strengthening strategic and economic ties between Pakistan and Turkiye.
