Pakistan to organize friendly Archery series with Sri Lanka: Jagath Abeywarna

Karachi : Sri Lankan Consul General in Karachi Jagath Abeywarna has said that the friendly relations between Pakistan and Sri Lanka will be further strengthened by the promotion of Archery, to organize a friendly series of Archery and traditional sports between Pakistan and Sri Lanka. He expressed these thoughts in the discussion with the delegation of Sports for All in the promotion of sports at the grass root level.  The delegation was led by Shahid Hashmi chairman of Sports for All. Coach Hassan Abdullah, Vice-Chairman Farhan Khan, QAA Archery Secretary Kanwal Hasan, Quratul Ain, Shahwar Nasir, Rashid Masood and Anwarul Hasan were present. The Consul General further said that he appreciates the efforts of Sports for All in the promotion of archery and other sports in Sindh, including Karachi, which has achieved significant results in the promotion of sports at the grass-root level, especially in schools.
