Pakistan, Romania forge agreement to enhance bilateral trade relations

KARACHI: Pakistan and Romania have taken significant step towards bolstering their bilateral trade and economic cooperation with signing of memorandum of understanding.
MoU was formally agreed upon by Eduard-Robert Preda, Charge D'Affaires at Embassy of Romania to Islamic Republic of Pakistan and Sohail Shamim Firpo, Chairman of Pakistan Romania Business Council. This agreement recognizes pivotal role played by PRBC since its inception in 2011 in promoting trade relations between two nations. Under terms of MoU, Embassy of Romania and PRBC have outlined structured framework for collaboration aimed at enhancing economic ties.
Embassy has pledged its full support to PRBC's initiatives aimed at fostering and strengthening bilateral trade between Romania and Pakistan. Protocol also acknowledges recent expansion of PRBC with establishment of its North Chapter, signifying its growing influence and reach within Pakistan. Both parties have committed to joint efforts to boost economic cooperation and trade exchanges, thereby creating mutual benefits for Romania and Pakistan. This collaborative partnership seeks to explore new avenues for trade and investment, leveraging strengths and opportunities offered by both economies. Signing of this protocol marks significant milestone in ongoing efforts to deepen and diversify bilateral relations between Romania and Pakistan.
