Pakistan lost to USA due to ongoing IMF talks: Sindh CM

KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah commented on Pakistan’s recent loss to US during ongoing World Cup 2024 match, attributing it to ongoing negotiations with International Monetary Fund (IMF).

During inauguration ceremony of Gymkhana in Naya Nazimabad-private housing society, Murad Ali Shah lauded administration for modern facilities within gym.Commenting on humiliating loss of Pakistan cricket team during ongoing T20 World Cup 2024, he attributing loss against USA was due to ongoing negotiations with IMF. However, he expressed confidence and determination, stating that India will face different outcome against Pakistan.He announced that if Pakistani team wins, they will be honoured with reception in Niya Nazamabad. Further, Sindh government plans to establish youth centers in every district, with 23 centres slated for completion this year.These centres will include gymnasium facilities to promote youth engagement and fitness.

He highlighted ongoing efforts to provide facilities to slum dwellers, indicating commitment to urban development through public-private partnerships. Chief Minister mentioned recent construction of Shahrah Noor Jahan and various ongoing projects aimed at improving city’s infrastructure.
