Islamabad: Pakistan team decided to go with Shan Masood over Abdullah Shafique and Mohammad Haris in the first ODI against New Zealand at Pindi Cricket Stadium, which left many cricket fans on Twitter angry and disappointed. As soon as the news broke out, Twitter was flooded with reactions from fans who expressed their frustration and disappointment with the decision. Many fans believed that Shafique deserved a chance in the playing XI. Similarly, Haris was also considered by many fans to be a better option than Masood.

Fans argued that the team management should have given a chance to the young players who have been performing well rather than sticking with the same old faces.
