Lahore: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is expected to unveil the full schedule for the upcoming three-match test series against England within the next couple of days.

Matches are planned to take place in Multan and Rawalpindi, with two tests set for Multan. As anticipation builds for the series, uncertainty looms over England’s participation due to the fitness of captain Ben Stokes. Ben sustained a hamstring injury in early August but has been included in the 17-member squad for the tour. He is scheduled to undergo a scan next week to determine his readiness for the first Test, which is set to begin on October 7. The decision to host the matches in Multan and Rawalpindi stems from ongoing construction work in Karachi, which has ruled it out as a venue.

PCB officials believe that the conditions in Multan could favor their team, providing an advantage as they face the English side. While the precise schedule is yet to be confirmed, the PCB is keen to ensure that the series goes ahead smoothly, with hopes that Ben will be fit to play.
