Pakistan, China to finalise 13 agreements, MoUs

 ISLAMABAD: During ongoing visit of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to China till June 8, leadership and delegations of two countries will review possible signing of 13-point agreements and memorandum of understandings (MoUs). 

According to sources of Pakistani delegation, there is possibility of agreement between two countries on coal gasification for urea and fertilizer production. With this initiative, natural resources will be used more and it will pave way for Pakistan’s agricultural productivity and economic stability.  Leaders of both countries are backbone of ICT’s modern economy. It will lay foundation for collaborative processes that will pave way for digital transformation and evolution.  Delegations of Pakistan and China will decide on manufacturing of electric vehicles in Pakistan. This will increase economic friendship between two countries in transportation sector and reduce carbon emissions in Pakistan.

China will set up electronic laptop and home appliances projects in Pakistan with private sector support. This will develop electronics and home appliances industry in Pakistan on modern lines. Pakistan will be able to increase its consumer market and technological capabilities. Manufacturing of Semiconductors will be game changer for Pakistan. Pakistan will be able to become global challenge player with cooperation of China.  It said that Industrial machinery will be made in Pakistan. Large scale syndicate yarn and fabric production projects will be taken up. Textile sector will be foundation of stability of our economy. With China’s cooperation, Pakistan’s exports will increase and employment opportunities will increase.
