ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has called for concrete steps by United Nations to stop Israeli slaughter of people in Gaza saying lasting end to Israeli-Palestinian conflict can only come through two-state solution.
Taking part in debate on Middle East crisis at Security Council in New York, Pakistan permanent representative to United Nations Munir Akram said Pakistan hopes Security Council will be able to adopt resolution demanding complete cessation of hostilities, full access to humanitarian assistance for besieged population of Gaza and international protection for Palestinian people.
