ISLAMABAD: British High Commissioner to Pakistan Dr Christian Turner called on Minister for Economic Affairs Sardar Ayaz Sadiq here Meeting was also attended by Kazim Niaz, Secretary Economic Affairs Division (EAD), Humair Karim, Additional Secretary, EAD and Jo Moir Development Director FCDO at Ministry of Economic Affairs.

Minister for Economic Affairs acknowledged role of United Kingdom as one of largest bilateral partners of Pakistan.

Envoy extended his deepest condolences over loss of lives and large-scale destruction caused due to devastating floods in Pakistan. He apprised Minister about flood relief assistance provided by government of UK and stated that UK will aid with climate resilient reconstruction. Minister extended gratitude for kind assistance.
