Pak-Indo celebrities raise voice for safeguarding women

Increasing lawlessness in Pakistan and India has deeply shaken people. They live in constant fear now because they know they can be harassed, killed, looted, or kidnapped at any moment, with criminals easily getting away with their crimes. Now, cases of rape and killings are also on rise.

Situation in India is no different from that in Pakistan. Harassment is common in India, but recent incident involving young Dr. Moumita Debnath has left people shaken and fearful about safety of women in country. Indian actor John Abraham has stated that women and animals are not safe in India. Alia Bhat, Kriti Sanon, Ayushman Khurana, Hrithik Roshan, Sohana Khan and many others are sharing grieving posts about innocent Dr Moumita Debnath.

Few days ago, girl in an Abaya/Hijab was harassed by man on a motorbike and his terrible act was also witnessed by his child. Soon after that, 5-year-old girl was raped at Ganga Ram Hospital in Lahore. Young couple was also harassed in crowd in Pakistan. But now, even women in abayas are being harassed in public. Celebrities want punishment for these sick men who harass women in parks, streets, workplaces and recreational areas.
