RAWALPINDI: Persistent hailstorm played spoilsport in the fourth PAK vs NZ T20I and forced the contest to be abandoned, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed.

The fourth T20I of Pakistan vs New Zealand series was underway here at the Pindi Cricket Stadium before a heavy hailstorm took the field in its grasp in the 19th over of the first innings. New Zealand had accumulated 164 for the loss of five wickets when the downpour commenced and did not stop and resulting in the match being called off.

Taking to Twitter, the PCB confirmed the aforementioned news. The Green Shirts lead the five-match series 2-1 and will now be setting their sights on the final match to complete series triumph.
