Minsk: commemorates the 75th Independence day of Pakistan, a flag-hoisting ceremony was held at the Residence of the Embassy of Pakistan, Minsk today on 14 August 2022.

The ceremony was attended by the Pakistani diaspora, students, and a few Belarusians from different walks of life. Ambassador Sajjad Haider Khan raised the national flag to the tune of the national anthem of Pakistan. Addressing the participants, he delivered the message from the President of Pakistan whereby a glowing tribute was paid to the leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and that of the other leaders of the Independence Movement, whose unwavering struggle culminated in freedom for the Muslims of the subcontinent. Head of Chancery Abdullah Amin read out the message of the Prime Minister on this occasion.
