Pak Ambassador’s interactive session with students of Int’l Relations Faculty

Minsk: Ambassador of Pakistan to Belarus Sajjad Haider Khan held an interactive discussion with students of Faculty of International Relations of Belarusian State University (BSU) on ‘Pakistan’s Foreign Policy and Challenges’. Over sixty students from different departments of faculty participated in event.

In his presentation, Ambassador shed light on core principles of Pakistan’s foreign policy, regional/global engagements as well as challenges. Ambassador particularly highlighted Kashmir Dispute and its legal status between Pakistan and India, due to which peace and stability in South Asia remains unsettled.

Students were also briefed on Pakistan and Belarus bilateral relations. Interaction provided students an opportunity to gain valuable insights into Pakistan’s perspectives on international affairs, its role on global stage and its vision for cooperation with Belarus. Format of lecture was interactive, encouraging students to actively engage in Q&A session.

Towards end, small reception featuring delectable spread of Pakistani cuisine was also arranged which provided students opportunity to experience unique flavors and aromatic delights that are an integral part of Pakistani culture.

Before lecture, Ambassador held meeting with Vice Rector of BSU for Academic Affairs and Internalization of Education and Dean of Faculty of International Relations, wherein they agreed to hold several joint activities furthering academic cooperation between Belarus and Pakistan.
