PAF, Army continue rehabilitation, medical assistance of flood affected people

KARACHI: Pakistan Air Force (PAF) is actively undertaking medical, humanitarian and rehabilitation relief operations for flood victims of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Sindh, Balochistan and South Punjab. PAF personnel are extending their full support and services for timely provision of basic necessities of food, shelter, drinking water and medical assistance to flood victims.
PAF Medical Lab Collection Points are operating round clock for diagnosis of widespread waterborne diseases like gastroenteritis, Dengue, malaria, cholera and dysentery in flood affected zones. Flood affectees are being provided free of cost medicines and medical care at Field Medical Camps of PAF.
During last 24 hours, Pakistan Air Force has distributed 17,960 cooked food packs, 250 water bottles and 1,730 ration packs amongst needy families. Moreover, 1,407 patients were also attended by medical teams of Pakistan Air Force.
