ISLAMABAD: National Assembly’s Public Accounts Committee (PAC) once again summoned Supreme Court’s (SC) Registrar on May 16 as it decided to conduct an audit of apex court from 2010-2021.

In meeting, PAC Chairman Noor Alam Khan stated that committee had decided to conduct an audit of Supreme Court from 2010-11 to 2020-21.

During meeting, he also warned of issuing arrest warrants if Registrar failed to appear before committee. In response to question, Khan assured that he will summon Registrar again if court orders stay on warrants.

PAC Chairman asked Auditor General to present comparative observation report on salaries and privileges received by President, Prime Minister, federal ministers, members of Parliament and Chief Justice.

Meanwhile, committee has also sought record of £ 190 million from United Kingdom’s National Crime Agency.
